Two large files containing typescript and manuscript notes, drafts and a small number of letters. It is likely that the majority of this material relates to Dust and Carnations: traditional funeral chants and wedding songs from Egypt translated from the Arabic by John Heath-Stubbs and Shafik H. Megally (London: TR Press, 1977). The letters in these files are from Megally to Heath-Stubbs, dated 1966-1969, and many of the manuscript notes are in Megally's handwriting.
