Administrative / Biographical History

Evan Evans of Erw Fair, Bangor in Gwynedd was a prominent wine merchant and a significant benefactor to the Wesleyan denomination. He was a major influence in the founding of St Paul's School, Bangor which opened in 1859. He died in 1873.
