Scope and Content

Sent from Ternitz [Austria] regarding receiving his postcard, Gershom sending off pictures to exhibitions, painting Hilde's miniature, doctors' bills, Gershom's pictures not going to Birmingham, loving him, drinking to his health on his birthday, Dora and Hilde wandering round the garden together, Dora looking fragile and the state of her teeth, Marie being cross with the translation of Sesame and Lilies into German, not thinking any translation would enable 'these people' to understand John Ruskin, and beginning to make arrangements for their return journey.
