Sent from Petersham [Sydney] regarding her birthday, being far away, Edie and David [Collingwood] and her dislike for them, thinking of one's faults, receiving her letters, visitors, tennis, disagreement with David about the tennis lawn, David not looking after Edith when she is ill, riding, needing to get their own furniture, being able to see Botany Bay in the distance from their window, journey into the pretty part of Sydney, her opinion of Tom, giving away Bosen - dog, [John] Ruskin's illness, making money, horses, her family, and spending an afternoon on the water.
