Scope and Content

Sent from Seascale, regarding enjoying reading Tante [by Anne Douglas Sedgwick (1911)?] and Dorrie's synopsis of it, leaving Seascale, putting the silver in the cellar before they left, planning to fetch the bulbs out of the cellar, a bill from Liberty for Dora's smock, enjoying time in Seascale but thinking they will be pleased to be home, Dr and Mrs Parker coming to tea and their three sons fighting in the war, the name Carol Whiteside among the wounded and Barbara having done a bookplate for them, finishing the miniature of the naval doctor nephew of Mrs Abercrombie and finding working from a photograph to be a dreary job.
