On a hamper arriving, Dora having a Chinese meal which Dorrie says is not very war economical, Ernest leaving again, wondering how Dora is feeling, the sex of the baby, the weather and flowers, going out for a walk with Ursula and having to spell the word 'walk' to stop Puck [the dog] getting overexcited, and languages including asking Ernest to give the Armenian translation [of 'walk'.]
