Scope and Content

1. 'Memorandum on Malaria and its Prevention', by D B Carter (April 1944). Addressed to the Camp Commandant, in response to his request. Typescript (3 sheets), with carbon copy.

2. 15 June 1945. Photocopy (1 sheet) of a letter to the Camp Commandant concerning the shortage of food. Several signatories.

3. A table (typescript) showing 'Gross Calorific Value of Official Rations' (1944), and a graph showing 'Food Consumed in Calories' (1943-45).

4. 30 November 1945. Signed carbon copy letter (9 sheets) from R Stuart Hill to W G Braidwood, reporting on 'dental attention for the British community of Shanghai throughout the periods before and after the internment camps were opened'.
