Bibliography

The descriptions in the catalogue correspond to two articles by E.H. Willett: (i) 'Recent Additions to the Ancient British Coinage of the South-Eastern District', Numismatic chronicle, N.S. 17 (1877), pp. 309-333; (ii) 'The Ancient British Coins of Sussex', Sussex archaeological collections, 29 (1879), pp. 72-113, and 30 (1880), pp. 1-30. In the latter, however, the coins are described for the most part as found 'at Selsea'.
