Juvenile Court Registers: The Lower Strafforth and Tickhill Petty Sessional Division, Court at Thorne

These registers contain the register number; summons number; date of case; name of informant or complainant; name of child or young person; age; nature of offence; date of offence; date when taken to place of safety; plea; adjudication; time allowed for payment of instalment of fines; and signatures of justices.

Juvenile courts were established under the provisions of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933 (23 Geo 5, ch.12). Previous to this, cases involving juveniles were entered in the court registers listed in section 1.
