Dear Sir, I beg to enclose you a cheque value £144 - 6 -5. My Boys arrived at Birds all quite safe I am glad to hear that they are getting on tolerably well, I am afraid briefly is only____,& cannot look forward to his taking a very good place at Eton. I assure you both Lady Middleton & myself see a very ___ uniform ___ in F_____, the little we have seen of him at present, & can only feel too thankful that he is in such good hands as yours, I need hardly say that it was a source of great anxiety what to do with him as he was too much for them to manage at home, & we both feel now, perfectly satisfied & grateful for what both you & Mrs Chittender have undertaken & we shall have much pleasure in sending him back again to Hoddesdon - I beg to remain yours truly Miss Miton.
