Scope and Content

Often referred to as the 'Big Book', 'Alcoholics Anonymous: The Story of How Many Thousands of Men and Women Have Recovered from Alcoholism' is the core text of AA and the Twelve Step Programme. The first eleven chapters explain of the Twelve Step programme used in AA. The rest of the publication consists of personal experiences of members on their problems with alcohol and how they recovered using the AA programme. This series contains historically significant copies, various editions of the British printing, and international editions in various languages.
