Scope and Content

LETTER: Robert Jones, Cardiff to his wife Ann Jones. He hopes that the children and her are in good health and thanks God for His mercy towards them at all times. He arrived at Cardiff late last night after a rough passage and a stormy night on Thursday. He got to Milford on Friday morning about 5 o'clock and sailed about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. He is in dock and the place was frosted up last night. Asks her to let him know how Owen Jones is getting on. He is longing for her and the children and asks about his father and mother. He hopes she received the bill for £20 that he remitted from Liverpool.
