MEMORANDUM: Robert Hughes, Bangor Provincial Mutual Ship Insurance Co. Ltd., Plas Llwyd, Bangor to Captain Robert Jones, Lord Tredegar, Amlwch enclosing receipts, etc. per his respective vessels. The cheque for £34.7s.6d. referred to in Captain Jones's letter of the 21st cannot be found. Captain Jones's father knew well about the £1 quarterly subscription to the Bangor & Prov. Co. and the 6s. quarterly subscription to the Freight and Outfit Co. The amount was left over pending the Directors' consideration of the application by his father for an abatement in respect thereof, but which application the Board declined to entertain. Captain Jones was quite right in the case of "Ann Crewdson". The August call of £4 has undoubtedly been paid, and regrets troubling him for it.
