Scope and Content

LETTER: George Edwards, West View, Connah's Quay to Robert Jones, Amlwch. Referring to his letter of yesterday he was surprised that the Captain of "Sea Gull" misinformed him. Their light was as good as any that was put up, also Robert Jones's vessel was carrying a bright light as well as the side lights which is against the regulations. The Captain said he would pay for the bowsprit. He states that it is also untrue that they did not pay out chain. Their boat would have sunk the vessel if chain had not been paid out. He hopes these few explanations will be sufficient for Robert Jones to see his way clear to settle the account to save any further expense.
