Stamped on the first page are also the details 'John G. Harrison M.R.C.S.L., Manchester, surgeon, 27 Piccadilly'. A bookplate describes the volume as 'Notes of a Course of Lectures on Surgery delivered by Sir Astley P. Cooper A.D. 1810 and recopied by John G. Harrison, A.D. 1827. Published by S Highley, Webb Street, Maze Pond, Boro' & 174 Fleet Street, London'. The volume is indexed and foliated with the lecture notes having the original foliation ff.1-141, ff.142-146 being blank, and the index being found on ff.147-148.
