Index to Dr Hull's 'Defence' & 'Observations'

Scope and Content

Formerly part of the Radford Library, St Mary's Hospital, Manchester where it was allocated the reference number F 92 viz. their 1877 library catalogue. The label of R & J Gleave, printers, stationers etc., 191 Deansgate can be found in the inside front cover. Also in the front cover is a note that describes the volume as an Index to Dr Hull's "Defence" & "Observations" & to his translation of Baudelocque's memoirs on the caesarean operation compiled by Thomas Radford MD..

It is a simple index with tabbed lettered pages containing an alphabetical list of the subjects and contents of the aforementioned works of John Hull (1761-1843) with the relevant page number and indication of which work it refers to. The names of these works in full are as follows:
