The volume has the original pagination pp.1093-1433 and writing is on the recto of each page only. There is no clear numbering or demarcation of lectures as there was in the first two volumes but there is a subject index in the rear.
There are some additional notes on ff.1-3 separate to the main text. These are 'case of a fit of the gout removed by exercise' on f.1v, 'practical remarks on the gout, see Mead medical precepts' on f.2, and 'pains of the joints' on f.3r.
The contents of the lectures according to the index are: gout; diagnosis of gout; recapitulation; case of gout; cure according to the plan pursued, 1769-70; exanthemata; distinction of genera; small pox; inoculation; treatment of small pox; secondary fever.
The volume bears the bookplate of the Radford Library, Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester, which also indicates that it was allocated the reference number Q128 viz. their 1877 catalogue. The volume has since been referenced J6 C67 as part of an alternative system. The spine reads 'Cullen's Practice of M. Vol.4'.
