The volume has the original pagination pp.2601-2899 and ff.156-191 have been left blank. There is no clear numbering or demarcation of lectures as there was in the first two volumes, writing is largely on the recto of each page with additional notes on the verso, and there is a subject index in the rear. A note at the end of the final lecture indicates that the class finished on 27 July 1770.
The contents of the lectures according to the index are: cachexia; marcores; tabes; atrophia; intumenscentia; polysarcia; pneumatosis; physometra; tympanides; hydrops; physiconia; rachitis [rickets]; scrofula [tuberculosis, lymph node]; gonorrhoea; lues confirmata; scorbotus; elephantiasis; rules for the study of the practice of physic; writers on particular diseases; conclusion.
The volume bears the bookplate of the Radford Library, Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester, which also indicates that it was allocated the reference number Q128 viz. their 1877 catalogue. The volume has since been referenced J6 C67 as part of an alternative system. The spine reads 'Cullen's Practice of M. Vol.8'.
