The manuscript has the original pagination pp.1-42, although much of the page numbering is missing owing to damage to the corners of the manuscript.
A collection of medical recipes in abbreviated Latin terms and using apothecaries' hand. Most of the recipes are introduced in English with a brief paragraph giving information on the name of the doctor who has recommended the prescription and the ailment it is intended for. Many go further and refer to specific cases or patients for which the prescription was utilised. Some of the references within and the date suggest that Windsor collected these recipes whilst studying in London. There is a note on the final page of the main manuscript, written upside down, which is an extract from Astley Cooper's lecture on suppression of urine.
