This is volume 3 of 5 and bears the original pagination pp.757-1140. There is no numbering of lectures or indication of where each lecture begins or ends but clear subject headings are evident throughout. The writing is on the recto of each page only and there is a subject index in the rear.
The contents of the lectures according to the index are: phthisis pulmonalis [pulmonary tuberculosis]; hepatitis; gastritis; enteritis; nephritis; rheumatism; toothache; gout; haemorrhages; haemorrhagia narium [epistaxis]; haemoptysis; vomitus cruentus [haematemesis]; haemorrhois; bloody urine [haematuria]; vomitus [vomiting]; cholera morbus; diarrhoea & dysentery; diabetes; stranguria; dysuria; ischuria [urinary retention]; palsy [paralysis]; syncope; asphyxia; symptoms of death; soporose diseases.
The volume bears the bookplate of the Radford Library, Saint Mary's Hospital, Manchester, which also indicates that it was allocated the reference number Q129 viz. their 1877 catalogue. The volume has since been referenced J6 G20 as part of an alternative system and the spine reads 'Gregory's Practice Vol 3'. The first two pages have been torn out although seemingly none of the main text has been lost.
