Manuscript account book kept by a wine merchant at Saumur (Maine-et-Loire), recording purchases of wine from farmers and proprietors in the Loire Valley, mostly for the period 1781-1793, but continuing up to 1812. Certain purchases, after 1800, are made 'pour la Flandre', 'pour la mer' and 'pour l'etranger'.
