John Minter Morgan letter

Scope and Content

Address: 18 Pembroke Street, Cambridge. To Rev Professor Adam Sedgwick. Covering letter (on mourning paper) to a copy of Morgan's 'The Christian Commonwealth'. He recalls a meeting of the British Association [for the Advancement of Science] at which Sedgwick 'expressed a hope that we should not confine our attention to the advancement of science but also direct its most beneficial application'.
