Engineer's reports of H. Enfield Taylor to be presented at Directors' meetings of the Great Orme Tramway. Includes a report of the initial inspection of the tramway by Col. Von Donop of the Board of Trade on 30 July 1902, with marginal notes by Enfield Taylor in which he takes every opportunity to ridicule A.F. Fowler and J.W. White, contracting engineers, for their behaviour, whilst alluding to his own composure.
Col. Von Donop sanctioned the line but warned that the Board of Trade certificate would not be available before 4 August (Bank Holiday) and that if the tram was open to the public on that date it would be the company's risk and Enfield Taylor should personally direct the whole working.
