Administrative / Biographical History

The Cambridge Expedition to East Greenland 1933 carried out an ecological survey of the Scoresby Sound area. Bertram and fellow expedition members Brian Roberts and David Lack sailed onboard the Pourquoi Pas? (expedition ship of Jean Charcot). Prior to embarking on the ship the men carried out an ornithological survey of Grimsey Island (Iceland).
