Colour sketches of Bakst designs for ballet costumes, possibly cut out from a publication, and mounted on card. The sketches include designs for plays such as 'Scheherazade' and 'La lampe d'Aladin'.

Léon Bakst was a Russian painter and designer active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He designed exotic costumes and decor for Russian ballet and plays.
