File which contains a small amount of correspondence but which is principally comprised of papers relating to Cox's poems, in particular his books Every Common Sight and Two-Headed Monster. Includes: cuttings or photocopied cuttings of published reviews, notices, advertisements and references to both volumes; some typescript reviews of the books, presumably supplied to Cox directly by their authors, including reviews of Every Common Sight by J. Birje-Patil (/4) and A.E. Dyson (/6); typescript and manuscript transcripts of excerpts from reviews; and a memorandum of agreement with Carcanet Press for Two-Headed Monster. Other material in the file includes: Christmas cards sent to Cox in 1989 and 1990 by politicians Robert Jackson, John MacGregor, Alan Howarth, and Kenneth Baker; a congratulations card signed by Michael Phipps and five others; an offprint of 'Five Dream Poems' by Frederick Morgan, inscribed to Cox by the author; postcard from Alan [Ross] rejecting some of Cox's poems for publication; a note from Michael O'Neill, to accompany contributors' copies of a journal; and some manuscript notes of poets' contact details.
