Sir John Trevor to Thomas Crewe (Leeswood); wants to know when Davy Speed is leaving his holding and thinks recipient may need to move there himself shortly as writer's mother is so keen to move to Leeswood; in any case the coal pit has not been profitable enough to warrant him being employed to look after it so he does not want any further coal workings begun and any coal his mother wants must be dug from the existing ones; sends £8 for Davy Trevor.
