Thomas Crewe (Allington) to Sir John Trevor (Cannon Row): apologises for late arrival of the signed certificates but he has been ill; some of the signatories say they also signed Sir Thomas Powell's petition but only had part of it read to them and some hardly any at all, viz: John Rogerson and Hugh Speed of Holt and John Dod of Allington; Mr David Edwards has refused payment for his help and Mr George Puleston and Mr Hope were very ready to support recipient and none who signed the certificates failed to have them read to them if they could not read; will begin removing the trees and speak to 'my Lady' about thorns to fence them with; Sir Richard will not be leaving Ireland until May; has repaired the mills at a cost of £15.
