Sir John Trevor to Thomas Crewe (Trevalyn): wants to know what the land is which his uncle has bought for him from his cousin, Allington, and how good the title is; enquires what money of his recipient has as he will need to pay Edward Price Wynne for his lands soon so his cousin Edwards will pay him up to £20 if required or else he should ask his uncle's bailiff, John Wright, to lend it to him; he should also make it an excuse to chase up the tenants who are in arrears; Mr Receiver is demanding 18d for rents due for lands at Plas Maen and lands bought by Sir Richard from Mr Yonge and asks if his father ever paid any such.
