John Peck to Sir John Trevor, MP (Cannon Row, Westminster): 'we are very busy airing the goods that came from the Governor of Shrewsbury which are seven pieces of hangings and three carpets. When they are well aired the which they stand in need of I will send for a tailor to mend the breaches in them. They have had but little hurt only the best carpet in the middle about a yard from the end the moths have eaten a hole that one may put in 4 or 5 fingers'.
