From Joanna Ruskin Severn, cousin of John Ruskin (1819-1900) and his caretaker.'Dear Madame Bodichon' thanks for invitation for her and Arthur to visit [Arthur Severn, artist, must have been her husband] but her third child is due, so she can't come, though Arthur might -- he is 'at present with Mr Ruskin at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire, where they both hope to do some nice drawing.' She was reminded 'during this harvest season' of the 'lovely sketch you so kindly gave us.'
