Administrative / Biographical History
Howard Diamond was Assistant Treasurer of the London Missionary Society, 1928-1952. In 1948 he was responsible for refitting and commissioning a coaster, the Empire Sloane, as the mission ship "John Williams VI", and sailing with her to Suva, Fiji.
