Papers and photographs relating to Christmas (b. 25 Dec 1869, d. 9 Dec 1925) and Margaret Jones (b. 31 Aug 1884, d. 17 Jun 1982) and their three children Margaret Muriel (b. 13 Feb 1911, d. 7 Jan 1995), Edward Harries (b. 17 Jul 1916, d. 15 Aug 2007) and Florence Irene Jones (b. 31 Jan 1921, d. 3 Sep 2014). All three children were born at School House, Llanelidan where their father was headmaster. The family later moved to Derlyn, Russell Gardens, Rhyl in 1941.

Revd. Edward Harries Jones

Edward Harried Jones attended Ruthin Boys School and later St David'd College, Lampeter. He later went to Ely Theological College, Cambridge and completed Theological training in 1937. He then went on to become vicar of All Saint's Church, Ffynnongroew where he remained until his retirement. He married Kathleen Hardy, headmistress of Lowther College, in 1960. Harries passed away on 15th August 2007 aged 91 years old.

Florence Irene Jones

Irene Jones attended Howell's School, Denbigh and later Edge Hill teacher training college during the second world war where she studied Geography. She later taught at Dinorben Secondary Modern, Abergele where she taught for over 37 years and later became deputy head teacher.
