Lease by (i) to (ii) of lead ore, boose and smythom that may be got, picked, gathered or purchased at or in wastes or hillocks of rubbish or waste of ore at ancient or present works on Halkin [Halkyn] Mountains, Brinford [Brynford] Mountains, Skeiviog [Ysceifiog] Mountains and elsewhere in the parishes of Halkin, Holywell and Skeiviog, and in the washing places and floorings thereunto belonging.
Term: 9 years.
Royalty: 30s. per ton of lead ore, boose and smythom.
Consideration: the 'great diligence and extraordinary pains & service' which (ii) did undergo and perform for (i) at his elections at Chester, and sums of money expended by (ii) in Chester for ten years past upon the account of (i).
