Scope and Content

The archive of Bryan Stanley Johnson contains the working papers and drafts of his published and unpublished novels, plays and poetry, film and television work, his journalistic work, his editing work for anthologies and periodicals, and correspondence concerning his professional career and personal life. In addition there are notebooks and papers containing draft creative work, research and ideas for writing projects. There are also press cuttings of articles about Johnson and his work and cuttings of his published articles and reviews. The personal papers include notes from his time at university as well as collected material relating to the periods he worked at the Glyn Club and Gregynog.
