Schoolboy Correspondence of Horace M. Rice (1805-1863), clergyman

Scope and Content

This small collection consists solely of correspondence from Rice to his parents and sister. The letters contain details both of school activities and the boy's career plans, incidentally throwing light on the domestic life of the Rice family.

Horace M. Rice was a clergyman by profession. As a child he attended Westminster School, London, from where the letters in this collection were written.
