Scope and Content

Manuscript letter refering to spiritualism and mediums. Hunt gets the impression that Bull dislikes the mediums and those that work for them, plus the heavy charges that these people place upon those who attend a seance. He suggests that Bull should be open to the experience and conduct his own investigations before passing judgement on spiritualism. The letter largely consists of Hunt defending spiritualism and its practices against Bull's scepticism and conferring the benefits that it has to offer to humanity.
