Manuscript letter with an enclosed printed copy of Owen's letter to the Editor of The Times (the letter is pasted to the rear of this letter).

In the printed letter, Owen asks why an advertisement which he has paid to be placed in The Timesannouncing 2 public meetings did not appear as expected.

Rigby tells of calling on [George Jacob] Holyoake, who stated that he was "very much interested" with Owen's meetings and would insert his letter in his newspaper The Reasoner.
