Letter from C.R Newman to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Newman writes he believes it more desirable to keep up his correspondence with Owen rather than become involved with the "Co-operative Association" which is just about to commence. He notes having one or two reasons for this; he can mention things to Owen which he would not to them, and the advantages outweigh the disadvantages Newman feels.

In the remainder of the letter Newman discusses measures that should be brought in to promote the spread of knowledge between those who support the "New System".
