Letter from James Campbell to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter referring to the opening of a Social Institution [in Manchester]; calls the attention of Owen to the address [of the institution?], as the Secretary has been ill which has prevented them from knowing "how the correspondence has progressed".

The letter is written on the rear of a printed notice entitled "Truth without Mystery, Mixture of Error, or the Fear of Man", which states that at a meeting the Society was re-modelled (the basis and purposes are outlined).
