Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Richard Bewley forwards a resolution; a meeting "of the Directors and Trustees" will be held to "determine upon measures to be adopted with the Tytherly property." It is suggested that Owen, Finch and Green should be present.

Travis emphasizes the value of the community: "when we consider the great influence to be produced on society by a successful example of practice, the importance of this experiment becomes considerable." He writes that a "discussion" is taking place between "Murphy" and Richard Carlile regarding "man’s character."
