Letter from Wm. Evans to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter Evans opens by asking for the address of Frances Wright, and if she still remains in Paris.

Conversation turns to the whereabouts of Owen's sons, with Evans writing when he left New York on the 14 Sep [1831] both Dale and Richard were still in that city, but both intended to leave soon - with Richard heading for Pensylvania [Pennsylvania] the next day to acquire knowledge of agriculture and to benefit his health, and Dale aiming to leave for Le Havre, France two weeks later.
