Letter from Alex Dickson to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter, Owen is informed a room has been secured in which he can give his address to the people of the town [Maidstone, Kent]; Owen is pressed to come as soon as possible as the present tenants of the room are likely to move soon. Details of the arrangements for Owen's arrival follow.

Dickson closes by noting that the "good people of Maidstone are very ignorant on the subject of Socialism" and it will be wise to print a "Sillabus" to announce the lectures.
