Letters from Julian Hibbert to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

First manuscript letter: Hibbert sends Owen the first nine pages of a french tract that he has translated, entitled: Saint-Simonian Doctrine, (or) general abstract of the exposition made in 1829 and 1830. Extracted from the Revue Encylcopedia (Nov 1830).. Hibbert informs Owen that he will translate more pages and send them to him.

Second manuscript letter: Hibbert sends ten more pages of the tract that he has translated. He will not translate the tract further as he believes there is no need to do.

Accompanying the two letters are the 19 pages of the tract that Hibbert sent to Owen.
