Letter from Charlotte and Benjamin Tight to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: The Tights apologize to Owen for interrupting his important work, but they wish to ask him about the character of another married couple, the Painters, who advertised in the New Moral World for companions. The Tights received a letter from the Painters in reply to their own, with Owen named as a reference for the couple. As such, the Tights wish to know more about the Painters before meeting them in person.

The letter continues regarding various other matters, including the removal of furniture at their house, and events at a congress.
