Letter from Henry Price to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

This manuscript letter opens with Price explaining that he is currently in Dieppe rather than London due to an "indisposition" affecting his wife. He explains that she is now fully recovered, but he is unsure if they will now cross the sea to England as his previous appointments were at fixed times and be difficult to rearrange.

Price wishes to hear from Owen and presumes that he is still in Paris and employed along with his coadjutor M. Goupy on the "work of Social Regeneration" which is wanted now more than ever. Owen is asked to send Price a newspaper every day during the month of August.
