Letter from James Rigby to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

In this manuscript letter discussion is of the Panorama [depicting a model village] which has been set up by [Thomas] Atkins in St Martin's Hall, London. Rigby tells there had been no morning exhibition on Tuesday due to only one person attending on the Monday one and today only 3 people came. Atkins is in a poor state of health "both mentally and physically" and feels like giving the whole thing up; his wife is "better man than he is" and is determined to fill the hall.
