Letter from Caroline Southwood Hill to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

This manuscript letter opens with Hill explaining that her husband, James Hill, wishes to unite his paper The Star in the East with the New Moral World. To facilitate this, he wishes to go to Manchester and put his proposal before the Congress before they separate for the year.

Hill writes of her pleasure in hearing of the spread of Owen's principles and she believes they will soon "flourish".
