In this manuscript letter Travis informs Owen that he has got the narrative ready for the printers and will take it to him. He also notes having looked letters from William Allen and others around the time of the commencement of their partnership at New Lanark; he thinks they will be a useful appendix for a forthcoming edition [of The New Existence of Man Upon Earth] as it "remarks on the false statements in William Allen's life".
