Letter from John Wright Jnr. to Robert Owen

Scope and Content

Manuscript letter: Wright has received and read Owen's draft copy of his family history, and states that it gives him "much pleasure to see so good a history" on Owen's family. It appears that Wright knew some elements of the family tree prior to meeting Owen, particularly that of his father-in-law, David Dale. Wright states that he does not know much about Dale's early history and can not be of much use to him in this regard for his family history publication.

He then informs Owen of the health of his wife and also comments that like Owen, his family have all moved abroad.
